Hike Across Canada 2026 Virtual Mystery Sew Along (CLASS FEE ONLY)

June 16, 2026 till September 22nd

Welcome to our 5th annual summer sew along. This sew along will feature both applique and patchwork. Each week you will receive a PDF pattern featuring an animal to represent a province/territory of Canada and a hike challenge. 

Quilt will measure 60" x 60" 

You will learn basic applique techniques, patchwork, and different methods for making HSTs (half-square triangles). 

Fabric Requirements

• Border fabric 0.75M 
• Binding 0.5M
• Light colour (for applique blocks- cream toscana) 0.75M
• Light tone on tone (cream with small maple leaf print)1M
• Dark tone on tone (black on black maple leave) 1.25M
• Medium tone on tone (red on red maple leaf)0.75M
• Black colorworks (1M) for applique shapes and binding
