We are back with a new version of our Hike Across Canada. New blocks. New Hike Challenges.

This year we will be frolicking in the forest! Join our Mystery Sew-Along, get fit and have fun, while we (virtually) hike across Canada.

Each participant will receive a Hike Across Canada Passport. Earn points for completing each block and hiking challenge.

We will have LIVE Sew Days and a Grand Finale with prizes all hosted in our virtual classroom.

Complete the whole program by September 23rd, 2025 and complete your quilt top to be entered in a draw to win our grand prize.

June 10th: Tune into our Zoom Meet-up group to talk about fabrics, layouts, organizing your projects, and Q & A. The first block will be sent after the meeting.

Details:

This year’s quilt will be a collection of different tree blocks, some blocks will be repeated in the quilt, but the fabrics will differ.

Participants can choose from two different layout options.

Layout 1: 52” x 68” 3 Filler Blocks + 13 HAC Tree Blocks (Total of 16 blocks), this is an asymmetrical design.

Layout 2: 82” x 82” 12 Filler Blocks + 13 HAC Tree Blocks (Total of 25 blocks).

Each week a downloadable block pattern will arrive in your inbox and will represent one of the provinces or territories in Canada.

Each completed block will earn you points in your hiking passport. Earn extra points for hiking steps too. More details to follow.

Fill in your passport to get a chance to win prizes along the way. Complete the whole program by September 23rd 2025, share your completed quilt top and your name will be entered in a draw to win our grand prize.

We will be hosting the sew-along in our virtual classroom. PDF Block patterns will be emailed to you weekly starting June 10th.
