Christmas Mystery Sew Along 2024

We will create a large lap quilt, approximately 54" x 66"
This is a mystery sew along, so we ask you do not share photos of the clues and quilts on public social media channels. We will provide a private Facebook group to show and share as we sew along. Bonus prizes, patterns and games for participants will be shared in the private Facebook group. 

What is included:

You will need to purchase the following fabrics:
Background Fabric - Light/White 1M
Fabric B (red) 1.25M
Fabric C (dark green) contrast & borders 1.6M (borders are approx. 1M of fabric)
Fabric D (red pattern) accent 0.6M 
Fabric E (med green) contrast fabric- same colour lighter value  FQ or 0.2M (4" x WOF) 
Binding 0.5M 

Schedule:

Week 1 September 30th: Gather Fabrics and Cutting Directions
Week 2-5 October 7,14, 21 & 28: Make Block Components
Week 6 November 4: Finishing 

After week six, we will host a Virtual Class for the Quilt Parade & Prizes. Date TBA

Skill Level:	Beginner
Skill Details:	Beginner Skill Level. Participants will have knowledge of sewing 1/4" seams, familiar with their sewing machine, and can follow pattern directions. Skills we will review: -strip sets -subcutting -pressing seams -2 x2 grid -offset grid
Materials Included:	Participants provide their own materials
Requirements:	Students will need to purchase fabrics as listed.

Instructor Bio:	Roxane brings us another virtual sew along. She shares tips and tricks each week in her pre-recorded video tutorials. The pattern is designed by Roxane Hendrie and is exclusive to our Sew Along. She is excited to launch her third festive pattern, and sew along with you each week.
