One Block Wonder Panel Quilt



This One Block Wonder is constructed in a unique way using panels to create hexagons. You will learn how to line up your panels and cut precisely to create your blocks. Depending on the size of your panel, the finished quilt can range from wall, lap, or double quilt.

In this class you will learn:

  • how to cut triangles to build hexagons with a 60-degree ruler
  • one block wonder construction
  • applique method related to this quilt construction
  • design elements for this quilt construction
  • how to use panels to create one block wonders

Please be aware that all COVID-19 precautions will be followed during classes. Masks are required when moving around the classroom or in the store. When you are sitting at your sewing machine, you are welcome to take it off. Seating arrangements will be a minimum of six feet apart. Price includes class fee for all 3 classes. Materials are extra. Full supply list will be available upon registration.

The class fee is for ALL three sessions. A non-refundable class fee is due upon registration and will hold your spot. Class size is limited to six students to ensure safe physical distancing. Masks are required when moving around the classroom or in the store. When you are sitting at your sewing machine, you are welcome to take it off. 

In the event, The Fabric Shop needs to cancel the class we will issue a refund. 

The Fabric Shop respects copyright laws. Patterns or books may be required for some classes.
Class supplies are eligible for a 10% discount.

Materials Included: A Supply List is available in store. We highly recommend consulting with the instructor prior to purchasing your panels.
Requirements: Suggested: One Block Wonders of The World book Needed: 60 Degree Ruler Flower Headpins (LOTS) Standard sewing kit: seam ripper, scissors, snips for thread, extra pins, and pincushion Machine in good working order ( Clean before starting!) with an accurate 1/4" inch foot or setting, and it's tool kit & manual Size 12 piecing needles and good quality coordinating thread for piecing in a neutral color WIND AT LEAST 3-4 BOBBINS
